Ontario Tech acknowledges the lands and people of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation.

We are thankful to be welcome on these lands in friendship. The lands we are situated on are covered by the Williams Treaties and are the traditional territory of the Mississaugas, a branch of the greater Anishinaabeg Nation, including Algonquin, Ojibway, Odawa and Pottawatomi. These lands remain home to many Indigenous nations and peoples.

We acknowledge this land out of respect for the Indigenous nations who have cared for Turtle Island, also called North America, from before the arrival of settler peoples until this day. Most importantly, we acknowledge that the history of these lands has been tainted by poor treatment and a lack of friendship with the First Nations who call them home.

This history is something we are all affected by because we are all treaty people in Canada. We all have a shared history to reflect on, and each of us is affected by this history in different ways. Our past defines our present, but if we move forward as friends and allies, then it does not have to define our future.

2014-2015 domestic tuition - fee-per-credit programs

The following tuition fees are for domestic graduate students studying in fee-per-credit programs in the 2014-2015 academic year. Tuition is billed based on the number of credits in which a student is enrolled. Part-time graduate students in fee-per-credit programs have a course load restriction of two courses per term. Fees below do not include compulsory ancillary fees.

MBA-MITS: Tuition for the MBA-MITS program is based on the per-credit rates for each program. Therefore, courses with the prefix BUSI will be billed at the current MBA tuition rates and courses with the prefix MITS will be billed at the current MITS tuition rates. Domestic students following the program maps can expect to pay at least $33,717 for their entire two degree programs. This may change depending on current tuition rates and program maps. In the event of an inconsistency between the estimated amount shown here and those published and approved by the Board of Governors, the latter shall prevail.


In addition to the fees above, students are also required to pay compulsory ancillary fees based on their registration status (full-time or part-time).


Important notes:

  • Fees are subject to change without notice. Every effort has been made to ensure that the fees listed on this page are accurate. In the event of an inconsistency between the fees published here and those approved by the UOIT Board of Governors and/or administration, the latter shall prevail.
  • It is expected that students in fee-per-credit programs will be registered in courses each term until the completion of their coursework and will, therefore, be continuously enrolled in their program and pay tuition in all three terms per year as well.
  • Graduate students in fee-per-credit programs will be charged a continuance fee for their continuing work on a major paper, project or thesis for each term extension beyond the normal degree components. The continuation fee will be based on three credits for part-time graduate students or six credits for full-time graduate students, plus ancillary fees.
  • Students enrolled in UNENE are considered part-time students and pay compulsory ancillary fees.
