Join our Graduate Academic Affairs Specialist, Shelly Windsor, for an engaging introductory session to discuss academic integrity. This session will explore the Ontario Tech principles and expectations for academic honesty, including how to avoid plagiarism and uphold ethical standards as a graduate student. You will gain practical strategies and resources to support your academic success throughout your graduate journey.

Student expectations - research based - Monday, October 6 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Starting graduate school is exciting, but it also comes with new responsibilities, relationships and expectations. Join Shelly Windsor, Graduate Academic Affairs Specialist and Cheryl Simmons, Graduate Academic Affairs Officer for this session. It will guide you through the essentials of succeeding as a postgraduate research student at Ontario Tech, including understanding the roles of supervisors, graduate program directors and program staff; setting clear expectations and timelines with your supervisor; navigating graduate funding, progress reports and academic policies; and accessing the many resources available to support your academic success and well-being. This session will help you build a strong foundation for success.
