Supervisor Series

Supervisors and graduate students work together in a unique relationship, growing and reaching new milestones side by side. Base Camp offers resources that support various groups—graduate students, Postdoctoral Fellows, supervisors, and staff—as they collaborate to learn, create, and make meaningful changes. Base Camp is built around four key areas: Lead, Support, Explore, and Inspire.

The Supervisor Series is part of Base Camp and focuses on enhancing the knowledge, skills, and strengths of our supervisor community. By creating a structured learning experience, we help supervisors better support graduate students and Postdoctoral Fellows. The 4 Peaks of Base Camp provide tools for supervisors, encourage peer learning, foster community connections, and highlight best practices in supervision.
