  • CAMH Discovery Fund Postdoctoral Research Award

    The Discovery Fund provides support for postdoctoral researchers pursuing basic and clinical research to better identify, diagnose, prevent and treat mental illnesses. Both one- and two-year awards are available to support full-time postdoctoral studies under the primary supervision of a CAMH scientist. The Discovery Fund Postdoctoral Research Award, supporting prospective postdoctoral researchers, reflects an investment in the future generation of world-class researchers in mental health.

  • Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Fellowship

  • Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation Distinguished Scholars Awards

  • Human Frontier Science Program Fellowships

  • John Charles Polanyi Prizes

    In honour of the achievement of John Charles Polanyi, recipient of the 1986 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, the government of the province of Ontario has established a fund to provide up to five prizes annually to outstanding researchers in the early stages of their career who are continuing to postdoctoral studies or have recently started a faculty appointment at an Ontario university.

  • Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships

  • NSERC Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Postdoctoral Fellowships

    The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) has established the JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowships for research in Japan. A limited number of promising early-career researchers are given the opportunity to conduct research in Japanese universities and in designated research institutions and laboratories.     SSHRC Partnership Engage Grants provide short-term and timely support for partnered research activities that will inform decision making at a single partner organization from the public, private or not-for-profit sector.
