2015-2016 international ancillary fees

The following are compulsory ancillary fees for international graduate students studying in both flat-fee and fee-per-credit programs in the 2015-2016 academic year. Please note: actual charges on your account may be higher or lower.

  1. U-Pass (student transit pass). Full-time graduate students in the MA in Education and MEd are exempt from the U-Pass fees.
  2. Fee set by insurer. Full-year payment required in September. Domestic and international students who start their program in January or May will be charged a pro-rated amount for health and dental. They will still be responsible for the full annual amount in the following September. Students who have other coverage can use the student insurance in co-ordination with their current coverage to increase coverage, or they can opt out of the dental and extended health portion of the plan.
  3. UHIP is mandatory for international students. Actual fee set by the insurer and full-year payment required in September. International students who start their program in January or May will be charged a pro-rated amount for UHIP coverage. They will still be responsible for the full annual amount in the following September.

Important note: Fees are subject to change without notice. Every effort has been made to ensure that the fees listed on this page are accurate. In the event of an inconsistency between the fees published here and those approved by the UOIT Board of Governors and/or administration, the latter shall prevail.

No ancillary fees will be refunded after the first 10 lecture days in any semester.
