You may aware that an Attestation Letter that is required for certain study permit applications. However, please note this process does not apply to graduate students (i.e. graduate diploma, Master's and PhD programs). Attestation letters are for undergraduate students only. Graduate students can follow the IRCC's study permit application process as normal and do not need to request nor submit an Attestation letter.

Starting February 15, 2024, students who graduate from a Master's-level degree program will be eligible to receive a 3-year post-graduate work permit (PGWP). Spouses of international students in graduate-level programs may be eligible to receive an open work permit. Please note that we cannot guarantee the approval of any travel documents.
