Hubert H. Harshman Award

The Hubert H. Harshman Award will be awarded to a full-time graduate student in the Faculty of Education. The deadline to apply is October 24, 2024.

  • Eligibility

    Candidates must: 

    • Demonstrate financial need.
    • Be an Ontario resident and Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
    • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
    • Demonstrate good citizenship, good social responsibility and leadership in society.
    • Be studying at a graduate level in the Faculty of Education within the Education and Digital Technologies field.
  • Requirements

    The student must submit two letters of reference (faculty member and a community contact) with at least one of them highlighting the candidate’s citizenship qualities.

    • The letters of reference must be submitted to Student Awards and Financial Aid or by email to connect@ontariotechu.ca.
    • Please advise your references that their letter must be received by the application deadline date or your application will be incomplete and will not be reviewed.
  • How to Apply
    1. Navigate to the MyOntarioTech homepage.
    2. Click the 'Current students' option.
    3. Under Student Awards and Financial Aid, select 'donor awards available to you'. 
    4. Select 'Apply Now'.
    5. Select 'Apply' for a new application or 'Update' if you have opened or started an application already.
    6. Enter your network ID and password. 
    7. Enter the applicable term and year, select continue.
    8. From the list, select the appropriate award.
