GradWrite: Draft to Done
Have you completed your research and are now working on your writing? Want an environment where you can write distraction-free and make significant progress? GradWrite is for you!
Over two consecutive days, GradWrite will give you a productive, distraction-free work environment and space to make significant progress with your writing. We will also provide you with the opportunity for at least one individual session with a Writing Specialist, which will help you develop the strategies to become a more skillful writer. There will also be short input sessions that will equip you with techniques to help motivate you to continue with your writing.
The 2026 GradWrite: Draft to Done will be held on June 9 to 10.
In addition to the online registration, all participants are required to submit a Supervisor Consent Form to the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies before GradWrite begins. Students without a supervisor must meet with a designate from Grad Studies to determine if they would benefit from the GradWrite event.
The boot camp is strictly limited to 40 participants. There is no charge for this event; however you must register. If you suspect you are unable to attend, you must email gradstudies@ontariotechu.ca to inform the facilitators within 48 hours of the start of GradWrite.
